Bananier Darjeeling, Musa Sikkimensis Red Tiger, is a species of the genus Musa . This is one of the highest banana species and is at Bhoutan and in India .The plant is robust and measures approximately 4 m high with yellowish green foliage and a pseudotronc tinged with reddish. The sheath is stained with blackish brown and is without maturity wax, unlike Musa Nagensium which has thick wax deposits in the sheaths of the pseudotronc. The bases of the blade bear a red-violet color when they are young, which gradually fades, at the latest on the middle rib. The inflorescence far exceeds the pseudo-tronc, producing an oblique fruit cluster. Fruits are described as cowards, coming from large brown calluses on the axis, tilted at maturity. The pulp is not abundant, dirty white with pale brownish pink. Flowering and fruiting take place from October to April. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/musa_sikkimensis
