CARCIS CHINENSIS , the Redbud Chinese , ( Simplified Chinese :紫荆; Traditional Chinese :紫荊; Pinyin : Zǐjīng ) is a plant of the legumes from the family of Fabaceae , [1] originally from China.
As an arbre, the Chinese Redbud can reach 15 meters (49 feet) high with a trunk diameter of up to 50 centimeters (20 inches), however, the species normally pushes in the form shrub. The flowers are pink or milky white color while the body of the sheet is almost circular, from 6 to 14 centimeters (2.4 to 5.5 inches) of length and shrinks at a point in the end. Flowering in April, the Chinese Redbud produces fruit in October.
Although rustic, this plant requires a sheltered place in cultivation, exposed to the south or west, with wet and well -drained soil. [2]
