Malva Sylvestris is a species of Mauve genre Malva of the family of Malvaceae and is considered to be thetype species like. known as Mauve Commune by English -speaking Europeans, It acquired the common names of Cheeses , Mauve des Bois and Grande Mauve ( Mauve des Bois by the French) LORS of its migration from its native house in Western Europe, North Africa and Asia through the English -speaking world.

Described as Red-Violet, Rose-Violet brilliant with dark stripes  and Mauve-Violet shiny, The flowers of Malva Sylvestris appear in clusters Axillary from 2 to 4 and form irregularly and elongated along the main rod with the flowers at the base opening first.

M. Sylvestris has an epicus (or false Calice ) with oblong segments, two -thirds as long as the chalice or 2–3 millimeters long and 1.5 millimeter wide .Its chalice is free until the middle, from 3 to 6 millimeters long, with largely triangular lobes or oval mainly 5 to 7 millimeters long. Flowers are 2 to 4 times longer than the Calice ; 


Nucules Strongly Reticulated (10–12 Méricarpes , generally without hairs, with an acute angle between dorsal and lateral surfaces, 5–6 mm in diameter.


Also called "cheeses", The seeds are brown with brownish green at maturity, are approximately 2.5 millimeters long and wide  5 to 7 millimeters in diameter and have the shape of a cheese grinding wheel .
