The CISTE LA LAUDANUM or CISTE A GOM, (Cistus Ladanifer or Cistus Ladaniferus) is a shrub of Mediterranean regions.20 seeds
- Shrub of 6 DM at 2.5 M high.
- Green-up, sticky, opposite, sessiles, linear[Quoi ?] lanceolate, up to 12 CM long and 25 MM De wide.
- Large white, isolated flowers, with a stained base of purple.
Western Mediterranean: Spain, Portugal, Sicily, Algeria and Morocco.
Naturalized in France in a few points of the Mediterranean border1.
The gum extracted from this plant, the labdanum, is used in perfumery.

Sowing must be done at 15º C night/20º C days
My germination technique: immerse the seeds in boiling water at 90º for 1 minute. Let the seeds soak for 24 hours in the water at room temperature, then proceed to sowing (on sandy floors), this method is valid for most "cistus".
