Cistus Lebanotis is a Species Shrub of Flower plant of the family of Cistaceae , with white flowers. It was confused with Cistus Clusii , to which it resembles, which leads to a certain uncertainty in its distribution. It is Endemic of Iberian Peninsula (south of Portugal and Southwest of Spain ).

Cistus Lebanotis is a shrub prostrate or less often erect , reaching 80–120 cm (2 ft 7 in - 3 ft 11 in) high. Its leaves are dark green, long and thin, generally from 2 to 4 cm (0.8 to 1.6 in) long by 2 to 5 mm (0.08 to 0.20 in) wide And with margins turned down (revolted). The upper faces of the leaves have only a few star hairs, especially on the margins and the ribs; The lower faces have a clearly visible rib and two dense bands of short star hairs. Flowers are arranged in Cymes or Verticilles, the upper group forming a umbelle of three or four flowers. Each flower has three sepales striped reddish , from 7 to 9 mm (0.3 to 0.4 in) long by 4 to 5 mm (0.2 to 0.2 in) Large and five White petalswith a yellow spot at the base, 10–13 mm (0.4–0.5 in) long by 9–12 mm (0.4–0.5 in) wide. The stamens are of unequal length, longer than the Pistil . The style is short. The fruiting capsule measures 6–7 mm (0.2–0.3 in) long, with relatively large seeds reaching 1.8 mm (0.07 in) in diameter.  ^[3]

My germination technique: immerse the seeds in boiling water at 90º for 1 minute. Let the seeds soak for 24 hours in the water at room temperature, then proceed to sowing (on sandy floors), this method is valid for most "cistus".
